AdTech Movements & Auction Trends
November saw a net addition of 2K ads.txt lines, marking the lowest positive change of the year. Despite this, key SSPs like Rise, Mobfox, and Taboola showcased impressive growth in connections across Tier 1, 2, and 3 publishers.
Auction Duplication: The Critical Challenge
Tier-1 SSPs faced challenges with auction duplication, impacting both revenue and carbon footprints. At Databeat, our Competitive Intelligence Tool helps address these inefficiencies, enabling SSPs to identify duplicate domains and improve green index scores without compromising revenue.
The Rise of Video in Programmatic Advertising
While overall CPMs dipped 0.7% MoM due to a 14.2% drop in video CPMs, video volume grew from 13% to 15%. This signals the increasing significance of video formats.
Key Highlights:
MoM Trends: Display CPMs rose 2%, while video CPMs declined 14.2%.
YoY Trends: CTV CPMs fell 10.8%, with Telaria as a standout performer, recording 221.1% YoY growth.
Integration Insights:
Prebid leads programmatic integrations with 43% market share, followed by AdX, TAM, and EBDA. Publishers can optimize by routing video inventory through TAM and display inventory via Prebid to reduce duplication and improve returns.
